Catholic Feminine Formation is a counter-movement on college campuses — equipping young women with practical formation, mentorship, mindset, and skills-based training necessary to resist cultural confusion so they can flourish in every season of life.
Young women today need to anchor their faith formation with the human formation necessary to reach the heights of their potential — without suppressing their God-given nature. — The case for feminine formation
Let's be honest — college has become a place where too many young women lose their faith, their standards, and their sense of who they are.— The Woman School · Catholic Feminine Formation
In a culture that distorts femininity and leaves women vulnerable to confusion and immorality, Catholic Feminine Formation offers young women practical life training rooted in Catholic anthropology — so we can raise daughters who are mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually strong.
Our daughters cannot flourish or sustain their Catholic faith outside of formation. It is what anchors their faith.
The crisis facing young women today is not simply a crisis of bad choices. It is a crisis of inadequate formation.
Too many young women arrive at college full of potential — yet deeply unprepared for the pressures, confusion, and responsibilities that build their future.
They are empowered — but not equipped with discipline.
They are told to find themselves — but not taught how to develop their mindset.
They are pushed toward success — but not formed for wholeness.
They are taught to build a career — but not prepared with life skills.
This is why we are seeing so much anxiety, confusion, and drift.
Our mental health crisis is simply a formation crisis.
We have a duty to give our girls adequate formation to become strong adults who will pursue a life ordered toward Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
Formation is the preemptive work.
It is the intentional work of building the mindset, habits, character, and interior strength — because it is not just about having freedom. It is about achieving interior freedom: the freedom to choose our highest good.
"How can a woman do the will of God if her will has not first been formed?" — The question at the heart of feminine formation
The sexual revolution did not liberate women — it suppressed their nature. And we are seeing the consequence of a genderless culture play out on college campuses every day.
The fight for equality neutered the distinction between men and women, convincing women to suppress their fertility and deny the very design that makes them who they are.
The truth is this: women cannot find true fulfillment outside of their God-given design.
The result is not only personal struggle. It is civilizational decline.
When women are not formed, relationships suffer.
When relationships suffer, homes weaken.
When homes weaken, culture deteriorates.
If we want renewal, we must begin by forming women again.
Let's form our young women before the world deforms them.
We are introducing a Feminine Formation Program to our Catholic college campuses — as a supplement to their college education with the human formation every young woman deserves.
How it works:
The Woman School offers How to Be a Woman: Formation 101 — a 6-class foundational course focused on mindset and skill development, rooted in Catholic anthropology and ordered toward Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. Online, with guided formation homework to help each woman study herself.
The women meet weekly or bi-weekly to discuss the course material and hold each other accountable as they grow deeper into their formation journey. Each circle is led by a trained formator who facilitates the discussion.
The women have designated time to access mentorship from a trained Woman School mentor — the guidance that turns learning into lived formation, and questions into confident answers.
We are building a feminine revival on college campuses by reclaiming femininity through formation.
We envision a generation of young Catholic women who are:
This is not simply about helping women avoid collapse.
It is about preparing them to flourish.
6 classes. 24 lessons. Every skill women wish someone had taught them. She begins the formation the moment she enrolls.
Rooted in Catholic anthropology. Ordered toward Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.
Catholic Feminine Formation is designed to be simple for campuses to implement and strong enough to create lasting impact.
Contact The Woman School to initiate your college's yearly subscription for How to Be a Woman: Feminine Formation 101 — delivered through your feminine formation circles. The course is 6 classes, with independent online access for every woman in your community.
Give us your leaders and we will train them to facilitate the feminine formation circles. You choose to meet weekly or bi-weekly for discussion, accountability, and support. The circles are where the real formation work happens.
You receive a designated college ambassador from The Woman School for continuous support — because formation is not a one-time event. It is a partnership for the long haul.
Many programs inspire women. Few prepare them.
Catholic Feminine Formation is different because it does not stop at ideas, theology, or motivation. It helps women actually develop the interior and practical capacity to live well.
This means formation in areas such as:
Young women do not only need to know what is true. They need formation that helps them embody it.
When a young woman receives feminine formation, she becomes more capable of:
This is why formation matters.
Because formed women do not simply survive culture — they help transform it.
Catholic Feminine Formation is rooted in a Catholic vision of the human person, the dignity of woman, and the call to virtue, wholeness, and holiness.
We believe the formation of women should be faithful to the truths of the Church while also giving women practical tools for everyday life.
Faith formation and feminine formation belong together.
A woman's faith gives her direction. Formation gives her greater capacity to live it.
"God's glory is man fully alive."
— St. Irenaeus of Lyon
The renewal of culture begins when women become more fully alive in God — formed in truth, strengthened in virtue, and capable of giving life to the world around them.
Catholic Feminine Formation is for:
If you are looking for a way to give women not only faith support, but practical formation for life — this is for you.
Instead of asking each woman to purchase individually — your Newman Center, Catholic college, women's group, or chapter makes an institutional commitment and opens the course to your entire community. Use it as a women's formation offering, a retention tool, and an evangelization tool. Bring as many women as you can reach.
How Tiers WorkPricing is anchored on your year-one cohort size — how many women will go through the formation in the first year. Not total enrollment, not staff headcount. This metric matches the value delivered to your campus, regardless of institution size. Your tier is confirmed during the discovery call.
The same full offering — regardless of your institution's size. Your tier reflects your scale, not your access.
Not ready to commit the full annual rate up front? Start with a pilot semester — the first 3 classes of the formation journey — at 50% off your tier's annual rate. Balance is due before Semester 2 begins, with the remaining 3 classes delivered across the second semester.
Full unlimited access during the pilot semester · same commitment, structured to match your academic calendar.
Not every organization has operating budget for a formation program — but many have a Knights of Columbus council, a parents' association, a parish benefactor, or alumni network willing to underwrite the cost so every woman in the community can participate. Sponsored access is the same program, fully funded by a third party on behalf of the community.
"The hour is coming, in fact has come, when the vocation of woman is being achieved in its fullness — the hour in which woman acquires in the world an influence, an effect and a power never hitherto achieved."— St. John Paul II · Letter to Women, 1995
"In our times, the task entrusted to women is of immense importance. The future of the Church, the home, and culture depends on it."— St. John Paul II · Mulieris Dignitatem
"God's glory is man fully alive. And the glory of man is the vision of God."— St. Irenaeus of Lyon · Against Heresies, c. 180 A.D.
"The human person participates in the light and power of the divine Spirit. By reason, she is capable of understanding the order of things established by the Creator."— Catechism of the Catholic Church §1704
The Woman School's formation framework is rooted in the Church's teaching on the human person, the feminine genius, and the Theology of the Body as articulated by St. John Paul II — integrating Catholic anthropology with practical, skill-based formation for the whole woman.
"A woman's heart may burn with love for God and His Church — but without formation, people only get the fire without the light. The Woman School gave me the light."
"I came in believing I was a woman of faith. I left understanding what it meant to be a woman of formation. The difference is everything."
"This course should be on every college campus. It would save women's lives. It gave me the practical tools my faith was always calling me toward."
"As a psychologist with over 10 years in clinical practice, this program empowers women more efficiently and comprehensively than anything I've encountered."
"My home changed. My marriage changed. My relationship with my daughters changed. Not because I learned new information — but because I was truly formed."
"I took the class with my daughters. One of the best decisions we have ever made. We will pass it on for generations."
